TMI Irrigation was established in 1999, by then founder Jacobus Freysen and joined one year later by Kosie Freysen who prior had two very successful irrigation companies and 18 years experience at the time.
The father and son combination proved to be a hardworking, dedicated and passionate team and over the past 22 years, with the help of loyal and ambitioius support staff, have built the company from a contracting business into a multi branded importation and distribution company in Sub Saharan Africa and have successfully completed projects in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Mauritius, Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The TMI group pride themselves as a integrated, turnkey irrigation specialist to the Agriculture, Sporting Facilities, Commercial and Residential Estate Irrigation market. We have built long standing relationships with leading developers, agricultural engineers, landscape architects, civil engineers, landscape contractors and retail outlets.
Our professional services are unparallel as our multiple disciplined teams can assist with consultation, surveys, computerised irrigation designs, project management, system audits, technical support and backup service.

The TMI Group has 2 branches which is centrally located in Stikland, Cape Town and Sandton in Johannesburg. Each branch has dedicated staff who is happy to assist with sales, technical advice as well as irrigation designs.
